We truly enjoyed very traditional rooms and nice food.
Was a chilled-out base for trip. This place was wonderful small and modern for a stopover. Throughout our very nice stay, the service was EXCELLENT with shuttle from the airport and reliable Wi-Fi. They had a very quick check-in.

Although the arrival at the hotel is not easy, it is well indicated. Excellent location, a few meters from the RIalto... and its history is one of the great secrets and surprises of the hotel. We feel privileged to be there... The facade is being remodeled, but there you can feel the Venetian atmosphere. The bathroom was very good, new and comfortable. Close to shops and restaurants. The breakfast, great and unmatched ... was worth booking with breakfast included. The girl at the reception Svetlana, very nice and oriented us very well. We felt that we were guests of the great Marco Polo...and there is a reason for that. Excellent. Thank you for taking care of the guests like that. The security at the main entrance, although it has a trick to get out, is fine. We'll be back. Thank you.
Well, nothing. We liked everything, we learned and as an adventure it was great.

best thing was the staff!! friendly, attentive and with mastery of several languages to facilitate everything! we arrived, we were received with incredible detail because it was a special date. Location, excellent, few steps from Ponte Rialto and 5 minutes walk from Piazza San Marco. Close to restaurants and places of interest. decoration is old style, very comfortable, of good size. bed and pillows very comfortable and breakfast simple but very rich.
To get to the hotel is a bit confusing, we had to pay a Mr. to carry bags and guide us, as it is far from the train station and walking is about 30 min. When you arrive, you have to climb some stairs, carrying bags and to go down too. We couldn't turn on the air conditioning in the room no matter how hard we tried, although it didn't affect us since it was cold and raining.

This place had a great central location, right in the heart of everything near San Marco, the Rialto Bridge, and the shopping district.

By the time we had reached Ca' Amadi, we were exhausted from the trip and from the folks at the tourism center being rude to us. What we got when we checked in was a huge smile and a big welcome. The lady at the front asked us several questions and gave us a map of the City and pointed out all the main attractions. The hotel is situated right next to the Rialto Bridge in the middle of all the action. It was about a 2 minute walk to the bridge and Grand Canal, and about a 10 minute walk to St. Mark's Square. When we checked out, we were again sent off with a warm smile and a "hope to see you again." The service alone, let alone the location, make this hotel a great place to stay!
There was nothing that we didn't like.

The personnels in the hotel were friendly and very helpful very patient. Our rooms were very clean. The aircondition in My brother's family room did not work properly. I informed the hotel manager Valentina, then, we went out for sight seeing. It was fixed when we came back.
The only thing I am not use to is after 8p.M. there were no night watch. It is not because we need it, it is just that, when we came back after dinner. It seemd like there was no one arround in the hotel. What if we needed some help during the night? May be there was a way to contact the hotel personnel I just did not pay attention when we checked in. But, this is not a big problem. If I ever came back to Venice, I will certainly stay at the Ca'Amadi again.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
